Surprise CelebrationFor 25th WeddingAnniversaryMr and Mrs. Walter Beisiegel, who reside three miles south of Freeburg were surprised by relatives and friends Tuesday, April 6th in honor of their twenty fifth wedding anniversary.The celebrants were married April | j 6, 1940, by Rev. Fred Miller, in Clayton, Mo. They were attended by Mae Vielweber, now Mrs. Wm. Jones, and | E Paul Germaine They lived north of Freeburg for about one year and moved to their- present farm home, where they have lived ever since. Mr. | Beisiegel is engaged in farming.The Beisiegels are the proud parents of a fine big family of eleven children: Don, Mary, Betty, Kathryn, Frances, Walter, Jr, Dolores, Marcella, Edward, Carol and Richard.Mrs. Beisiegel is the former Luella Fischer, of near New Athens. They are members of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.Guests present were: Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wylie, Marissa; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gardner, of New Athens, Miss Judy Davis, Mrs. Lillian Curtiss, of Belleville; Mr, and Mrs. La Verne Smith, and Mrs. Milton Sped, Mr. Elmer Ohter, of near Fayetteville; Sgt. Walter Endsley, Airman Ron Ervie, Turkey Hill Radar Base; Mr and Mrs. Leonard Sheppard, Mr. and Mrs. William Jones and son Edward, Mrs. Amanda Vielweber, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Germaine and sons David, and Kevin and Mr. William Beisiegel, all of this city. \
