Gerald ValkMarries MissCarr in AltoonaMiss Georgianne Marie Carr and Mr. Gerald Alan Valk became man and wife at St. Mary's Catholic church, Altoona, Saturday, April 4, at 10 a. m. Reverend Stanley Sergot officiated.MISS CARR is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd G Carr, 720 East 2nd Street, Altoona. Mr. Valk is the son of Mrs. Catherine Valk. Stanley, Wisconsin.Tiers of scalloped Shiffle embroidered tulle over net and taffeta fashioned the chapel length gown. A Sabrina neckline accented the fitted bodice. Her illusion veil was held by a seeded pearl crown with crystal droplets.HER BOUQUET of white carnations was highlighted by pink sweetheart roses.Miss Joanne Carr, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. White accessories ac cented her blue net over taf feta gown. She carried blue and white carnations.EDWARD VALK, brother of the groom, was best man Bob Valk and Lloyd Cari were ushers.The reception was held at the Altoona auditorium.After their wedding trip the Valks will be at home at 1122 Omaha, Eau Claire.
