In a setting of Easter lilies and eandles on the altar at the chapel of the First Methodist church in Des Moines, Miss Evelyn Sherman, daughter of Mrs. O. B. Sherman, became the bride of Tunis Tait, son of Mr. and Mrs, William Tait of Des Moines Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Rev. Clifford Bacon officiated at the single ring ceremony.The bride was attired in a navy blue shantung dress trimmed in white shantung. She wore a white straw hat trimmed with rosebuds and lilies of the valley, and carried a white Bible with white carnations.Mrs. Curtis L. Ostre mot Ames was her attendant and she wore a light blue dress with pink accessories and her corsage was pink carnations.Willis Tait of Des Moines served as best man.Reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Tate in Des Moines for the immediate relatives.The bride is a graduate of Gold-field high school and attended A.I.B. in Des Moines. She has been employed as a secretary for the P.H.A. in Portland. Ore., the past six months.The groom is a graduate of Iowa State Teachers college in Cedar Falls and received his master’s degree at the Colorado State College of Education in Greeley. Colo. He is now employed as athletic instructor in Knoxville where the couple will make their home.Those from here attending the wedding were Don Sherman of Eagle Grove, Mrs. O. B.
