% WEDUThis afternoon at St. Matthew’s i church Miss Elaine Florence 1 Schuster will he married to Lt. Bill Palmer, USMCR, in a double ' ring ceremony by the Rev. James Lynch. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Schuster, 29101 East Seventh street, and he the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Palmer of Birmingham, Ala. Given in ; marriage by her father, the bride will wear a white satin gown, made en trainne and trimmed with , a lace yoke with a fingertip length veil hanging from a Dutch cap of seed pearls and orange blossoms.j She will carry a white orchid streaming from a white prayer ; book. Maid of honor will be Miss Jo Ann Ryer, who will wear a dress of sky blue sheer and carry i ’ an orchid bouquet. Bridesmaids will be Miss Louise Taylor, who will wear pink, and Miss Gloria Byrnes, who will wear turquoise ■ blue. They will carry colonial bou- ' quets. Preceding the entrance of the bridal party to the traditional ' wedding marches with Mrs. Frances Davis at the organ, Mrs. Mary lt;Gorman will sing “Ave Maria and ’ Because.” Serving as best man | will be Lt. Charles E. Still, and ushers will be Lt. Robert R. Piper 1 and Lt. T. H. Reynolds, all of the marine air corps. After the wed- J ding, a reception will be held at the Lakewood Country club with the couple cutting their wedding cake at a T” shaped table deco- 1 rated with pink and white flowers and candles. Mrs. Schuster, moth- ; er of the bride, will wear a black dressmaker suit with a double gardenia corsage. Assisting at the reception will be Mrs. George Gull ' and Mrs. Patrick Reardon. For her going away outfit the bride will wear a gold colored dressmaker suit, violet accessories and . an orchid corsage. The couple plan to make their home in Long Beach. The bride was graduated from Woodrow Wilson high school. J . Long Beach junior college, where \ she w as a member of Mahavarata. and attended Santa Barbara State Teachers college. The bridegroom has been in the service for two 1 years.
