Mr. Maker who is a resident of Miteheltree township is a son of the late Isaac Baker and a brother of Frank M. Baker of this city. The bride is the accomplished and pleasant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stiles, well respected citizens of Brown township. Mr. Baker is well known in this city and has many friends here who extend to him and his bride many congratulations.George Lands of Bedford visited friends m the city Sunday.Ed Gwin was here from Vincennes spending Sunday with home folks.Merlin Mosier of Vincennes spent Sunday in tiie city visiting relatives.Sheriff William Patterson came up from Loogootee Monday morning to attend court.James Martin, a well known Lost River township farmer, was in the city Saturday.Robert Stiles, a much respected Brown township citizen was in the city Saturday on business.Mrs. Charles Greer and children of North Vernon visited her sister, Mrs. 0.
