FROM KEWANNA.Prof. H. Brown went on a visit to Rochester this week.Dr. E. L. Fosdick left Thursday for Kansas, to be gone a few weeks visiting and recuperating his health.Miss Nordyke, of Monticello, is vis-iting.at Mrs. A. Jackson's.Mias Belle Barnett, who has been attending school at Rochester during the winter, is now stopping with .hm* grandpa, Air. Thos. Barnett.Mr. Dawson, jr., of Rochester, was in town last Sunday.Mr. H. Phillips is happy and yet in great trouble; cause of happiness a boy. The trouble comes from being unable to choose a suitable name for the scion of his household.Capt. Jackson has a large stock of Cincinnati buggies on hand now* which he is selling at very reasonable figures.Mr. H. Gustin has moyed into the old parsonage building.Mr. Baldwin has moved into the Wagner property.Mr. Archie Hudkins, sr., has moved into his house east of H. Phillip's store.Wonder if the Dr. at drug store is going to occupy the house with the Bay-window on Logan street.Mr. D. Odaffer has sold his restaurant to John Kilmer. Mr. O. talks of going west soon.Jas. Ware will move his family to Rochester soon,where they intend to remain while he goes west to find a location.The trial of Murphys vs. King Alcohol is set for next Monday eve, at Baptist church. Mr. Chas. K^wtoh will prosecute, and Prof. H. Brown, assisted by Hon. F. Cooper, will defend. Everybody is invited to attend, as they intend to have a jury trial. We were unable to get a copy of complaint, but have heard that High Crimes and Misdemeanors were the charges preferred against the King.Rev. Kenter will preach at the Christian church on Saturday eve and Sunday.Another wedding in high life is reported, the contracting parties being- Mr. Silas Bainter and Miss A.
