MRS. MIKE SHIRE ofWellsville accompanied her mother and sister, Mrs. William Claywell and Mrs. Patsy Little of Mexico to Washington, D.C. last week to attend the wedding of Mrs. Shire’s nephew, Gary Little and Linda McKelvey in the chapel at the Quantico Marine Base, and ceremonies for Marine Little’s honorable discharge.A high light for the visitors was the privilege of going aboard the Marine I Presidential helicopter, made possible by permission granted to Mr. Little who has been a part of the helicopter personnel, making trips to various places with the president.The elaborately built machine was built for John Kennedy and has been used since by Lyndon Johnson and President Nixon. A special thrill, according to Mrs. Shire, was to get to sit in the president’s chair and to receive souvenirs bearing the presidential seal.Upon his discharge, Marine Little received a personal citation from President Nixon, a medal with an engraved seal
