Reid, were married ^t the home of the bride’s parents in Bono township, Sunday pt 1 o’clock, Rev. M. S. Heavenridge of the M. E. church this city, officiating.The ceremony was performed in the presence of members of the two families only and immediately after, the bride and groom came to Mitchell and departed on the afternoonB. O. train for Indianapolis, where they will reside.The groom is a steady, industriousyoung man of good habits and has a position with the Atlas Engine Works in the capacity of fireman. He it well liked at home, and where best known has the confidence of all.The bride is a young lady of good home training, brought up with a full knowledge of household duties as well as a business training, having served the past year as stenographer in Lehigh office where she was well liked by the office force, and as a slight token the force presented her with a set of Haviland cups, saucers and plates as a wedding present.In a few days Mr. and Mrs. Ewing will be at home in Indianapolis to their many friends here.The Commercial extends heartiestcongratulations to both bride andgroom, and while we do this personally, we at the same time are speaking for a host of friends here and in Bono township.
