Weddihg.—A very pretty but quiet wedding was celebrated at Bethungra on Wednesday, when Edith Mary, eldest daughter of Mr. Charles 8.-Smith, of “ The Pines,” Bethungra, was united in the holy lond» of matrimony to William Wentworth Perry, of North Shore. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. Fred. Smith, of Narande'a, and was attired in a very pretiy ooeturae of white silk riohly trimmed with white satin ribbons and real lace. The bridemaids were Mias Eva Smith, sister of the bride, pretty grey costume trimmed with lace and satin ribbons 5 Miss F. White, pale green floral muslin, with lace trimmings; Miss Zilla Plunkett, creme silk lustre, trimmed with silk and ribbons; Miss E. Plunkett, navy bine serge with white trimmings 1 Elsie Smith, cream oashmere with white silk sash 1 Miss Pinkstone, fawn grass lawn trimmed.with lace and white satm ribbon ; Miss Pauline Smith, crame cashmere : Miss Dorothy Smith, pink cashmere. The church was prettily deoorated with greens and white flowere. After the ceremony the bridal party were driven to the residence of the bnde's parents, and light refreshments wore served. The happy couple left Bethungra by the paper treir. for Wagga, where they caught the express for Sydney. The bride's t.avelling costume was a handsome coat and ikira C! wr8® with • Pnk silk vest and 1 sailor hat. 6n the OOCOilon of this being ihe first marriage celebrated in the Bethun-/ra Church, Cauon and Mrs. Betts presented the bride with handsome’y bound books containing the Church of England ♦ervioe. TTio wedding gifts were both numerous and costly, including a number of | cheques; aud wo regret that wo oaauot enumerate them.
