Simmons April 6 at 3 p.m. at the Hermleigh United Methodist Church The Rev. l/iren Gardner of the church officiated at the double ring ceremonyMr. and Mrs. Lloyd Reeves of Hermleigh are the parents of the bride Parents of the groom are Mr and Mrs. Damon Simmons of Odessa.The bride was given in marriage by her step-father. She wore a gown of white organza with an attached chapel train French chantilly lace complimented the cape sleeves, scoop neck and chapel train Pearls shimmered on the empire waist and skirt i he shoulder-length veil of illusion was held by a headpiece of white peau de soie bows. She carried a bouquet of gardenias, stephanotis and Knglish ivy.Mrs. Fred Jenkins of Snyder, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor Bridesmatron was Mrs Ray Parker of Inrenzo, sister of the groom. They wore floor length gown of lime green dotted Swiss and carried bouquets of white daisies.Flower girl was Margaret Fritz, niece of the bride of Andrews She wore a floor lengthdress of lime green dotted Swiss. Ring bearer was Tod Fritz of Snyder, nephew of the bride Larry Flliott of Midland served as best man. Groomsman was Ray Parker of D)renzo, brother-in-law of the groom Ushers were Charles Fritz of Andrews, nephew of the tiride and Kerry Fritz of Snyder, nephew of the bride.The musical program included “O Perfect 1 xve'' and Whither Thou Goest” sung by Mrs Charles Bridges.A reception was held in the Hermleif^i (/immunity Center. Members of the houseparty included Joan Fritz of Andrews, Beth Fritz of El Paso, niece of the bride and Kim Fritz of Snyder, niece of the bride The bride is a graduate of Hermleigh High School. She received a BS degree from Me Murry College. She is a teacher employed by the Midland Independent School DistrictThe groom is a graduate of Odessa High School and received a BS degree from Abilene Christian College and a master of business education degree from Texas Tech University He is also employed as a teacher for the Midland Independent School District.
