Etta Carolyn BriggsTeacher Here Sets Date For WeddingMr. and Mrs Cranston Briggs of Fruitland announce the engagement of their daughter. Etta Carolyn, to James Samuel Johnson son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Johnson of Spartan burg. S. C.Miss Briggs is a graduate of! James M. Bennett Senior High School and Salisbury State College. where she received her bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She is a fifth grade teacher in Prince St. Elementary School. She is also working toward her mas-| ter!s degree in education at i Salisbury State. !Mr. Johnson is a graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville, Ga., and served four years with the Air Force. He received his associate of science degree in computer programming from the Rutledge Business College in Spartanburg and is employed as a cost analy-ist and computer programmer at the Jeffrey Manufacturing Co. in Spartanburg. He is working toward a degree in business management at the Rutledge Business College.The wedding will take place at 4 p.m. on June 29 in Faith Wesleyan Church. No invitations have been issued, but friends and relatives are invited to attend.
