He was riding on the engine it tender when the train slowed up at rg- Cleveland station. He attempted to a*r get off, evidently to escape detection by the train crew and slipping fell bend tween the tender and a freight car. re- He fell clear except for one foot which of was badly crushed. First reports were ige that the worst would be amputation of m- the injured leg at the knee. He was ist brought to the hospital here and sunk mr gradually from what the doctors call *ty “shock” and from internal injuries anddied Saturday night.
