Raymond Sott, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Peetz of. cla.ed at the impressive double ring ceremony in the presence of 10 guests.Mrs Robert rarrcr, organist, played a prelude of appropriate tnusic before the ceremony and accompanied Mrs Robert Hawkins as she sang “Because/’ “The Christian Wedding Song” and “'the Lord s Prayer.”Enhancing the improvised altar before a draped picture window were two baskets of pink carnations and white stock.Bride’s GownGiven in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white lace over nylon net and taffeta. The fitted bodice featured a V neckline and cap sleeves of nylon organza. The floor length skirt was caught up by tiny white flowers centered with seed pearls, forming scallops around the entire hemline. Elbow length mitts of matching lace tapered to points at the wrists. A tiara of seed pearls held in place her elbow length veil of nylon tulle A silver chain with a tiny pearl pendant, a gift of the groom, wasand she carried a colonial bouquet of pink and white carnationsDavid Littler, of Sterling, attended the groom as best man. Ronald Gillham, brother of the bride, was usher.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Gillham chose an afternoon frock of aqua and pink silk print, complemented with pink and beige accessories. Mrs. Kitch, mother of the groom, was attired in a gray tailored suit with gray and red accessaries. Their corsages were of white 'and pink carnations.Mrs. Roy Gillham, grandmother of the bride, wore an afternoon dress of medium blue satin faille, navy and pink accessories and a pink carnation corsage.• ReceptionMrs Dean Gillham and Mrs. Myron Hornby presided at the serving table during a reception which followed the ceremony. They were assisted by Mrs. Robert Gillham. All are aunts of the bride.A three tier wedding cake centered the table. It was trimmed with pink roses and,pink and white wedding bells and topped by a miniature bridal couple. Double crystal candleholders holding lighted pink tapers were set on either side.The Misses Marjorie Gillham and Jane Gillham, sister and cousin of the bride, were in charge of the gift table.
