HEKLKV j) II lt;Y.April i St. —One of those happy events, the account of which i« always of so much interest to our fair readers, took place in St. I'eter s Church, Seeley s I3ay, on the evening of Wednesday, March 24th. The occa sion was the celebration of the nuptials of Wesley Stafford, of Lyndhurst, and Miss Emma, youngest daughter of John Bracken. The ceremony was performed by Kev. I?. ('odd. The bride was assisted by Miss Emma T)unn, and the groom by Thomas T Bower. Immediately after the marriage the wedding party repaired to the residenceof the bride b father, where a sumptuous repast had been piepared by the hostess and to which ample justice was done by the guests, about fifty in number. The bride was the recipient of many beautiful presents,gratifying expressions of love and good wishes. Instead of going on a tour the happy couple sensibly concluded to take up house on the groom’s premises, one of the most valuable 111 Leeds County. We join their friends in wishing tb?m a happy and prosperous voyage over the sea of lite. [Too late for last week’s issue.]
