Landry as she sang Ave Maria and The Lord’s Prayer.The bride was escorted to the altar by her father who gave her in marriage. She wore a floor-length gown of white peau de soie with a sweetheart neckline and long sleeves which came to ^ a point at her wrists. Lace « medallions embellished with * sequins and pearls adorned the * front of the bodice and the skirt. She wore an elbow-length veil of « illusion and carried a bouquet of v orchids.Maid of honor was Miss Janie B Richert of Lake Charles. P Bridesmaids were Miss Freida Daigle and Mrs. Bobby Hinch of Sulphur. The bride's “ sister. Miss Rhonda Deaville, J1 was junior bridesmaid and a cousin of the bride, Karen ® Menard of Bridge City, served * as flower girl. ®These attendants were all P gowned in street-length dresses v of lilac silk with velvet ribbon streamers down the front. Their headpieces were clusters of spring flowers and they carried bouquets to match.Serving as best man was Don j Chaisson, brother of the groom. J Groomsmen were Carl E. * Hinchee and LeRoy King.Immediately following the ceremony, the bride’s parents entertained at a reception at the Veterans of Foreign Wars j home. A centerpiece of j chrysanthemums and candelabra decorated the lace { covered table which held the three-tiered wedding cake, ] topped with a small cross and lilac flowers. |The groom’s cake was the traditional chocolate confection with love birds in the center.Miss Hilda Kebodeaux, a cousin of the bride, registered the guests in a keepsake book. Those who helped in serving cake and punch were Mrs. Norman Deaville, Mrs. Gary Duhon, Mrs. Jimmie Deaville, and Mrs. Don Chaisson.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Deaville chose to wear a royal blue two-piece ensemble with beige accessories and a blue carnation corsage.The groom’s mother wore aJENNINGS, La. - Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church was the setting for the March 13 wedding of Miss Juanita Faye Deaville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Deaville, and Harrell Gene Chaisson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldridge Chaisson.Msgr. Ivan Arceneaux officiated at the double ring ceremony which took place at 11 o’clock in the morning. Baskets of white gladioli adiomed thetwo-piece knit ensemble with a pink carnation corsage.Following a wedding trip to Houston, the young couple are at home at 310 Washington St. in Jennings.
