Parizek. 91 East Fairchild street,and Mr. John B, O'Connor, Jr., ann of Mr. and Mrs. John B. O'Connor of Lone Tree, were married in the presence of 2U0 gucstv.Spring flowers decorated the church for the service which wua performed by the Rev. Edward Neuzil, Nuptial music was played by Mrs. Phillip Bnglcrt. at the organ, and Miss Lillian Parizek sang Avc Maria/* “Parus Angelicus, and*' ,lO Lord I am not Worthy/*Given in marriage by her father,the bride wore a gown of white silk marquisette styled on princess lines. Its square yoke was edged in rose point lace, and the full skirt, made with a senior train was trimmed in rose point, and satin bows. The bride wore a strand of pearls, the gift of the bridegroom, and her illusion fingertip veil fell from a tiara of seed pearls. She carried a white prayer book and a white orchid with ribbon streamers.Pink Net Miss Pauline Leeney. who wasmaid of honor, wore a gown ofBoswell and daughter, Laurita Kay, Lamoni; Mrs. Dan O'Connor, Sheboygan Falls. Keith Parizek and Donald Kolar were acolytes.A bridal dinner at-Hotel Jefferson followed the ceremony, at 11 a.m., and from 2 to 5 p.m. a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. A tiered wedding cake, smilax and flowers in pastel shades decorated the serving table. Dining room hostesses were Mrs. Eldon Parizek and Mrs. Kenneth Parizek.Motor TripMr. and Mrs. O'Connor have left for a 10-day motor trip through the eastern states, after which they will be at home on a farm near Lone Tree. For traveling, the bride wore a pearl gray gabardine suit with black accessories and a pink topcoat.Mrs. O'Connor is a graduate M City High school and Brown s Commerce college, and has been a stenographer in the purchasing department of the State University of Iowa. Mr. O’Connor, a graduate of Lone Tree High school, attended the State University of Iowa for three years, and was in the service for 40 months.
