PIERIK, BrinkJoanne Pierik became the bride of Keith Brink March 6 at the Palos Heights Christian Reformed church.The Rev. Jobn Vander Lugt performed the candlelight ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pierik of Palos Heights. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Richard Kooy and the late Robert Brink.Ms. Pierik was given in marriage by her father. She wore a traditional gown of white satin, bodice and long straight sleeves were of English net appliqued in alencon lace and pearls. Skirt and cathedral train had a wide hem of matching lace and pearls. Her fingertip veil of silk illusion fell from the Juliet headpiece.Denise liettinga served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Linda Oostema, Beverly Visser, Beth Leen-svaart and Jean Voss. All girls wore emerald gowns.Rich Solle served as best man. Groomsmen included Ronald Beversdorf, Ed Pierik and Robert Pierik. Ushers were Rick Kooy and Doug Pierik. Each was attired in a beige tuxedo, white shirt ruffled in beige. The bridegroom’s tuxedo1*Mrs. Keith Brinkwas beige with a ruffled ivory shirt.A reception for 215 guests at the Condesa del Mar followed the ceremony.The newlyweds honeymooned for two weeks in the Hawaiian Islands and are now at home in Alsip.
