Oxnard Home For NewlywedsMaking their home in Oxnard following a honeymoon trip to Los Angeles are Mr. and Mrs. J. Timothy Harper. The bride is the former Joan Robertson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Robertson of Camarillo.The couple was married by the Rev. Otis Fox in a morning double-ring and candlelight rite at First Baptist Church of El Rio.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white gown accented with seed pearls and satin ribbon. Lace also trimmed her veil, and she carried an orchid surrounded by stephanotis and fern.Miss Kathy Niles of Ventura was maid of honor, wearing a gown of green embossed dotted Swiss with daisy trim. She canned a bouquet of roses, daisies and carnations.Bridesmaids w'ere Mrs. Ron Guffee, the groom's sister, and Miss Karen Sargent, both of Oxnard. They wore yellow embossed dotted Swiss gownswith daisy trim and carried bouquets of mixed roses, daisies and carnations.Bill Lewis served as best man, and ushers’ duties were performed by Ron Guffee and , Charles Hansen. All are of j Oxnard. *Andy Dominguez was soloist accompanied by organist Johnny Jarvis. Both are Oxnard residents.The couple greeted well-wishers at a reception in the church social hall. Assisting were the Mmes. Mike Bryson. Raymond Benefield, Charles Clark and Nelson Harper, the groom’s aunt, all of Oxnard.The bride is a 1974 midterm graduate of Rio Mesa High School. She is now attending the Regional Occupational * Program through Rio Mesa, 1 studying to become a dental assistant.Harper, son of Mr. and Mrs. James E.
