Rev. Ronald Fisher and Revt Gideon WoL-brink officiated at 7:30 in the evening March 24, 1972.liet headpiece held her finger tip veil of imported bridal illusion, with flower medallions on the veil. The bride carried a colonial bouquet of white daisy pompons, blue carnations, baby’s breath and stephanotis, with i blue accents.BanVo vThe bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Vanderwerf of Wellsburg, and her husband’s parents are Mir. and Mrs.Menno Venenga, also of Wellsburg.Twin tiered, .candelabra with cascading arrangements of white mums and blue daisies decorated the chancel. Mrs. Frederick Meyer was organist. She accompanied Mrs. Ronald Fisher,whose; vocal selections were “O Perfect Love” and “The Lord’s Prayer”.Mr.* Vanderwerf gave his daughter in marriage. Her bridal gown was. of white peau satin with Venise lace trim. It wasstyled with long puffed sleeves,high neckline and empire waist. The cuffs, empire bodice and collar were accented in lace, with the same lace edging the detachable chapel train. Her Ju-Miss Mable Reents was maid of honor, and Miss Pauline Vanderwerf, sister^ of the bride, was bridesmaid. Their floor length gowns were of blue and white crepe radiance in empire style. The long puffed sleeves, high collar and bodice were trimmed in white lace with royal blue ribbon. White daisy cascades were in their hair, and each carried blue and white daisies surrounding a lighted candle. Miss Debbie Vanderwerf was in charge of the guest book, and hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Hawkins. The wedding cake was served by Mrs. Glenn Hinders and Mrs. Russell Hinders. Mrs. Marvin Nederhoff and Mrs. Wendell Venenga poured coffee, with Debbie Kirkdorffer, Donna Huis-man, Brenda Stahl and Ruth Spieker also assisting.The couple will make their liome near Parkersburg, where the groom is engaged in farming. Both are graduates of Wellsburg Community High School. Mrs. Venenga is employed in the office of Dr, L. L.
