Here Comes The Bridelt;*'Weaver — CoffeyLansdale, April 4. — All attractive early Spring ceremony was solemnized in the Methodist church, here, on Saturday afternoon, when .VIis:? Jean L. Coffey, daughter of Mrs. Alice E. Coffey, of this place, became the bride of Burton Weaver, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carey It. Weaver, Newtown. The single ring ceremony was performed in the presence of about 12:1 persons hv Rev. Leslie H. Kiefer.The church wan decorated with paims, two baskets and two altar vases of calla filies, stephanotis, and snapdragons. Mrs. William Hungate, of this place, was the organist.The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, Nelson I). Lewis, was attired in a white satin gown witii a mandarin cellar and a lace yoke, featuring buttons down the front and long pointed sleeves. The full skirt ended in a long train. A fingertip veil of French illusion fell from a pleated satin bund headpiece.She carried a tfrhite Bible topped with a white orchid and white rose streamers. MMrs. Jforis Renner, of this place,was the matron of honor, and Mrs. Claire Slaub, also of this place, a sister of the bride, was the other attendant A niece of the bride. Monica Gallagher, of this place, was flower girl.Ronald Weaver, Newtown, was best man for his brother, and William Staub and ’Thomas Gallagher, of this place, served as ushers.A reception for eighty guests was held at Montgomeryville. after which the couple then b ft on a wedding trip to Washington, 1). C, and Virginia.Mrs. Weaver was graduated from Lansdale High School and is etn ployed as a secretary by the Lans-dale Senior High School. ''The bridegroom was graduated from Temple High School and spent three years in the U, S. Army, twenty-seven months of which ho was overseas. He is employed as a roofer by W. 11 Fenstermacher.
