Bethel United Evangelical church was the setting for the wedding of Miss Nola Lorraine Yeager, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Yeager, Sr., 218 College avenue, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Everett Duffy, Rt. 4, Dixon. Rev. Fred P. Cunningham performed the double ring early afternoon ceremony, March 11.A prelude of nuptial music wasplayed by Mrs. Jessie Gaul, organist, and Mrs. Myrtle Tracy, pianist Charles Joseph Yeager, Jr., brother of the bride, sang Because before the ceremony and The Lord’s Prayer an the couple knelt at the altar. Mrs.Myrtle Albright, Mrs. Reba Nowell, Mrs. Gertrude Nelson, Mrs. Frances Glffrow, Mrs. Leona Reilly and Mrs. Elizabeth Demorest helped in serving the refreshments. Mrs. Ruth Oyler and Mrs. Elsie Hames were in charge of the gift tables and Mrs. Marion Cunningham had the guest book signed by more than 300 guests.Nola is a graduate of Dixon high school and John who graduated from Amboy high school is employed by the Dixon A P store.At a recent meeting of St. Luke’s ~ choir guild, Mrs. Ayres Davies, general chairman of the coming Marionette show announced final plans for the showwhich the guild is sponsoring.'Thumblina” will be presented at 1:30 and 3:30 p. m.
