Efird-FurstThe engagement of Cynthia Ellis Eflrd to Donald Edward Furst, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Joseph Furst of Fayetteville, Ark., is announced by her parents, Mr and Mrs. James Frank Eflrd of 2319 Cord Grass Bay, New Bern.The wedding is set for May 7.The bride is a graduate of St. Mary’s College, Raleigh, and EastCarolina University, Greenville, with a batchelor of fine arts degree. She is an artist in residence at the Latimer House Headquarters of the Lower Cape Fear Historical Society.The bridegroom received his master’s of fine arts degree from the University of Iowa at Iowa Ci-CYNTHIA ELLIS EFIRDty . He is a printmaking and design instructor at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
