James Curtis Varnell Married in AustinMr. and Mrs. James Curtis Varnell will make their home in Austin at 1801 W. 35th Street, after a wedding trip to Acapulco, Mexico. The young couple were married Saturday afternoon at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Austin with the Rev. Loyce S. Estes reading the wedding vows.The bride is the former Miss Gayle Margaret Pegler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Ralph Pegler of Dallas, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Lee Varnell of Belton and Austin.Both Mr. and Mrs. Varnell are students at the University of Texas in Austin and are members of theI Longhorn Band.I The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of peau de soie fashioned with a beaded lace bodice. A tubular train was attached at the waist by a Dior bow. and her veil fell from a satin and pearl headpiece. She carried a bouquet of white daisies, yellow roses and haby’s breath
