(From our Correspondent.) LINSTEAD, March 30.— There was excitement in the Shenton dis trict on premises adjacent to the Railway line between the vil lages of Bog Walk and Knollis on Saturday night when stones, sticks, and even a revolver were brought into use. It was the occasion of an East Indian dinner and dance in con nection with a wedding which took place in a private premises. This was attended by a large number of East Indians from all parts of the parish including Kingston. Many natives were also there, among them being some who were not invited. There was great merry-making whilst a “curry-goat feed’’ was served washed down as usual by rum. HOUSE STONED. All went well until about mid night when some of the native guests complained of being in sulted by the Indians. This was a signal for a disturbance, and thereafter pandemonium reigned supreme.
