Cane- *\On the eve of Easter Sunday, in a ceremony performed at Valley City, Mias Florence Evelyn Benesh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Benesh, 810 First St, became the bride of George Thurman Dobson, son of Mr. and Mrs. W J. Dobson, 618 Tenth St.The service was read at the Methodist parsonage at Valley City by Rev. a. L. Banc, who was the pastor at Mott when tbs Benesh family resided there several years ago. Guests were members of the Lane family who are at home and Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Fish, son-in-law and daughter of Rev, and Mrs. Lane. John Lane was best man for Mr. Dobson.An ashes of rases silk and wool two-piece ensemble, with hat and shoes of matching shade, were worn by the bride. Miss mimn Benesh of this city, who was bridesmaid for her sister, wire an ensemble costume of blue and grey crepe with grey shoes and hat.After the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served at the Hotel Rudolph.Mr. and Mrs. Dobson returned to Bismarck Sunday and will make their home with the bride's parents for the present. The bridegroom has been a resident of this city for several years and Is a graduate of the local high school. He is one of the proprietors of the Grand Pacific hotel news stand.Mrs. Dobson graduated from high school at Mott and later attended a local business college, Up to the time of her marriage she waa employed by the Hedden real estate agency.* * *tion with the North Dakota chapter, her daughter, Mrs. Katherine Guess, also of New York, and Mrs. John Coulter of Washington will swell the ranks of the state representatives.* * *Series of Parties Is Given by U StudentsA series of parties was given last week-end by University of North Dakota coeds, who engaged in a round of social activities while they were home for the holiday vacation.The capitol private dining room, which is becoming popular far small parties, was the scene of a luncheon party given Thursday. Friday evening Miss Aldeen Paris. 404 Fifth St.,was hostess for a bridge party and Miss Ann TerHorst, 023 Eighth St., entertained at bridge Saturday afternoon for her guest, Mias KathrynPagenkopf of Dickinson.Miss Margaret Hagen of Grand Forks and Miss Pagenkopf. who received the high score gift, were out-of-town guests at the Friday evening party. There were guests for three tables of auction.Guests at Miss TerHorst's party were the Misses Auveme Olson, Agnes Fleck. Aldeen Paris, Marian Woraer, Marjorie Ackerman, Haaei Devore, Helen Besson, Margaret Hagen, Kathryn Pagenkopf, Evelyn Omett and Marian Melville. The Misses Olson and Devore received the high score gifts. Miss Lovey Gransalke, accompanied by Miss Devore, sang The World Is Waiting for the Sunrise” and Memories.”Miss Pagenkopf left Saturday evening for Dickinson to spend Easter at her home and returned Monday to accompany local students who are a.
