Rev. I. H. Reck holt read the marriage service. and little Harold Smith acted an ring bearer. There wero no other attendants. Only a few near relatives ami friends of the bride and groom were present. The bride was gowned in a dress of white veil and lace and carried an arm boquet of white roses. The home was tastefully decorated, the parlor in pink and while carnations. In the dining room a basket of spring flowers* ! ••rved an a centerpiece fur the table. Mib* Shreve attended school at the Evansville seminary and i taught for a number of years in the rural schools. ] Her success an a teacher made her many ac-| quain lances and her charm of manner won for her a rnultitudf of friends. Mr. Higday is a prosperous ; farmer and »* held in the highest esteem by his [ asaoei ite*.
