Sarah J. EckCrson.Sarah J. Eckorson, widow of Henry Eckerson, died at her home in Go-ehen, last Friday, aged 69 years, 4 months and 9 days. She was born in Nev'ton, Fairfield county, Conn., Novemlier 24, 1S-12, and was married at Schoharie, N. Y., April 9, 1SC6. She Is survived by five children: Elmer and Chauncey, of New Hampton; Henry, of Newark, X. J., and Ralph and Lizzie, at. home All the care and love that skilled physicians and an anxious household could devise and apply for her comfort and assistance were brought into play, but the summons of Him who rules our incomings and outgoings had been issued and after a brief struggle, despite the prayers and entreaties of all who knew and loved her, their appeals were overruled and befpre the beautiful spring morning of March was kissed by the rising [ sun, the sufferer’s spirit had takenits flight to that home, the Christian believes is the fulfillment of the life everlasting.Let ua, If possible, gather up the element* of the life of the departed one and weave of mem a picture for the walls of memory. The book of life was opened and a new name waawritten therein by the hand of love. Soon would the unfolding beauties of spring time have charmed her coming, To-day the eternal springtime with everlasting glories belongs lt;o our sieter. Flowers not thorns, sunshine not shadow did she scatter everywhere. Truth was the inspiration, of her life, an4 by kindness she exemplified its great worth. Therefore we. mourn, but not without hope. Through this gloom there comes back a bright beam of sunshipe which turns our tears to towels of promise.The funeral services were held at her late home this afternoon, at 2 o'clock, by Rev.
