CONDITIONS IN CANADA GOOD)Len-ofenaOn the occasion of his recent visit to Cass county, Nicholas Metz, of Wilcox, Sask., Canada, who was called here by the death of his mother, the late Katherine Metz, was a welcome caller at the Record j office Friday, in company with his brother, Mike Metz, of Benton township. “Nick informs us that general conditions In that country indicate an unusual early spring, in which case it is necessary that every farmer be on the job, and get his crop in, so that it will have ample time to mature before the early winter sets in along about the time we, in this country, are sweltering with the extreme heat of midsummer. It will be good news to their many friends in Cass county to know that the large colony of former Cass county people “up indrs. Canada,” are all enjoying a reason-wasion.per-herably large measure of prosperity, with no after-claps of inflation to contend with, such as exist in many communities throughout the Unitedd a I States.
