Miss Leah Rugless returned to Indianapolis yesterday after visit ing with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Rugless. Herbert Crook of Indianapolis, arrived Saturday to spend a few days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Crook. Mr.and Mrs. John Clements and children of Washington, Spent Sun day with Clay B. Clements and fam ily near Whitfield. Mrs. Albert Walden returned to her home at Shelbyville Ill., yester day after visiting with her brother, Edward Sweet and family. Charles Slinkard, cashier of the First National Bank and one of Montgomery’s hustling business men, was in the city Saturday. James Fitzerald, foreman for Van Hoy Son on a fine residence which that firm is constructing at Taylor ville, IL, spent Sunday and Monday at home. R. M. Baker, traveling salesman for the International Harvester Co., went to Indianapolis yesterday to assist with his company’s exhibit at the State fair. Mr. and Mrs. John Huebner and son, Master Hubert, after spending the summer on their farm near Cro thersville, have returned to their home in this city. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Davis and children, Harold and George, return ed to their home at Washington Friday after visiting here with his father, Russell Davis Sr. John J.
