BETHALTO — A drive to pro mote a swimming pool in the Bethalto area will get underway at Bethalto Park Pavillion when workers and interested citizens will meet at 7:30 p.m. today to begin the bond sale for construc tion of a pool facility. An estimated $60,000 is needed to construct an official AAU type swimming pool in the area. Carl Erwin, recreational consultant from Memphis, Tenn., is assisting Bethalto in its efforts to build a pool. The pool would be avail able to residents of Bethalto, Meadowbrook, Cottage Hills and local rural areas
