A successful revival meeting is in progress at the First Methodist Church here, which is conducted by the pastor, the ‘Rev. A. J. Ledford, and assisted by the Rev. Lewis Turner of Kingsport. David Drinnon of Knoxville was a recent visitor with rela tives here. Mr. Drinnon is a for mer resident of this town. Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Seal have had as recent guests, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hurley of Kings port. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lawson of Route 2 have had as their recent guests, Mr. and Mrs. How ard Drinnon of Kingsport. Miss Birda Trent has return ed to her home on Route 2, aft er a visit with her mother, Mrs. Alice Trent, Tacoma Hospital, Greeneville, Mr. and Mrs. Breton Fleenor have had as their recent puesta, we Rev. Lloyd Mullins of Thorn Al Aftere a visit with many rela tives around Seal Mathis, Mrs., Della Burke and her son, Pete Burke have returned to their home af West Friendship, Mary land. . Lewis Bolden has gone to Fort Lauderdale, Fla, and it is ex pected that Dr. and Mrs. Samue l B. Johnson will return with him. Sheriff Creed H. Nichols has had as his recent visitors, J. L. Shanks and Curtis Combs of Rogersville. Attorney Jesse Nichols of Knoxville was a recent visitor with many relatives around Kyles Ford.
