Serving with Patrol Squadron 931 at the Naval Air Station, Kodiak, Alaska. is Calvin H. Hudson Jr., airman apprentice, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Hudson of 308 East Broadway, Ardmore. The squadron flies routine pa trol missions over the Alaskan area, using the twin-engine P-2V “Neptune” patrol bomber. The Naval Station at Kodiak, a large island off the southern coast of Alaska, is responsible for both repairing and supplying ships and aircraft operating in the northwest.
