Last evening a number of friends rendered a surprise party to Mrs. Anthony Saranzak. Mr. and Mrs. Sar anzak and family, who have been re siding on Jefferson avenue, recently moved to Jackson street, and this af fair was given in the form of a house warming. The guest of honor was completely surprised. A delightful eve ning was spent playing 500 and pi nochle and at a late hour, refresh ments were served.
