HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. — (UP) Funeral services were scheduled for today for three Hopkins Coun ty coal miners crushed to death by falling slate. The fall occurred yesterday in the Williams Coal Co. shaft, 19 miles north of here. Dead were identified as Richard Pennington, 23, White Plains; Will Hickman, 52, Negro Crofton; and Hugh Gilkey, 48, Mannington. Hickman and Gilkey were found dead under the debris after res cuers clawed their way to the men. Pennington was dead on arrival at ov Stuart Memorial Hospital eve.
