Miss Bertha Craven returned home Saturday from a visit with her cousin in Grinnell. Rev. Martin closed his revival meetings at Mt. Pleasant Monday night. Miss Ada Morgan has been quite sick with typhoid fever at the home of her grandfather, but is now on the road to recovery. Miss Mae Terkildson went to New ton Tuesday for a week's visit at the Harlan Faller home. Mrs. D. R. Martin and baby Mau rine returned home Tuesday from a visit with relatives at Oskaloosa. Miss Ella Hopkins of Nebraska, is visiting friends in Kellogg this week. Miss Elgin Irish and Lena Moberly entertained the High school class of 1900 at the Irish home Wednesday evening, Feb. Mth. The baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Lindberg died last Thursday. The funeral was held at the Chris tian church Saturday morning. Tommy Rodgers, local editor of the Newton Recoup was in town one day last week, shaking lands with old friends.
