~Dr. Dye has moved into the Coffey property. —Fat hore are selling at Se here and are most devilish hard to get at that. Rev. F. Grider preached at the Methodist church on Thanksgiving. —The Dilactic Society will give an en tertainment at Janie Wash Institute on Dee. 2. -Charley West and Miss Mary E.. Rig ney were married Sunday at the resi dence of the bride's father, Mr. Alex Rigney. —John Daugherty, who lived on the Hustonville pike, was adjudged a fana tic and sent to the Anchorage Asylum last week. —It was reported that there would be two weddings in town on Thanksgiving day, but they did not come off, though it is asserted that ere the Christmas hol iday come and go, a young widower and one of Middleburgh’s sweetest sweet six teeners will be joined heart and band. —Spurgeon Sympeon arrived there Sat urday to attend school at Janie Wash In stitute. Nelson Wildher went to Lex ington Thanksgiving day. A party of Lexington bird hunters spent a week there and bagged 282 quaile. Miss Belle Lyle’s school closed Monday. W. K. Coleman's closed Wednesday, with ap propriate exercises at night.
