Attends Annual Reunion of Soldiers and and Citizens of Allen Township in Horn and Harvey's Grove. The fourth annual reunion of the soldiers and citizens of Allen township was held Thursday in Horn Harvey’s grove, near Pottersburg. There was a large attendance and a good program of exercises was carried out. The speak ers for the occasion were Colonel Wil liam L. Curry, U.S. pension agent; Rev. E. O. Hilery, of Raymond; Rev. Ezra Burroughs, of Marion; and Dr. Spencer Garwood, of East Liberty. A big dinner was served in the grove at the noon hour and the soldiers and citizens of the township furnished free coffee. One of the features of the day was a ball game between Pottersburg and Darby, which required eleven in nings the final score being 11 to 10 in fa vor of Pottersburg. The old officers, A. A. Burroughs, president, and W. H. Palmer, secretary, were unanimously elected for another year.
