Homecoming—1965.Preparations for the autumn event have been underway at the school for over a week, reports Principal Robert Sinclair. Arrangements are being coordinated by the Student Council and faculty members.Seniors Linda Gauley, Mary Limberg and Mery Schmidt have been selected as candidates for Homecoming Queen. Candidates were selected last Thursday when students in grades 9-12 designated their preference in a student body election.The candidate who receives the highest number of votes in the student election will be crowned Queen of Homecoming at a pep rally to be held on the main square in Buffalo Center at approximately 3:30 tomorrow afternoon.Queen attendants, representing the freshman, sophomore and junior classes, have also been selected by their respective classes. The freshman attendant is Linda Levik, Cindy Larson is the sophomore attendant, and Jean Johnson has been selected to represent the juniors.The girls’ escorts, also elected, will be as follows: senior escorts— Dennis Cushman, Roy Johnson and Denny Wessels; junior escort —Joe Aguilar; sophomore—Paul Gray; freshman—Dean Ostrander.Students in grades 7 through 12 and various student organizations have installed displays with homecoming motifs in the windows of downtown businesses.Students are also working busily to complete their floats which will appear in the home-coming oarade through town Vr\~
