FAMILY REUNION OF CONDERSSunday, September 23th, the near relatives of the family of Joe Con-der, met at the home of Joe Conder Clark on North East- Street in Spencer, for a family reunion. Many basket* «T fried chicken and many ether good things to eat were brought alongand a big feast was had.Joe Conder was one of the pioneer settlers of Owen county, who settledin the early days of the old Childress farm in Franklin townhip, west of Freedom. He had a family of 16children, all of which married in the neighborhood of old Dutch Bethel church thereby making a big relationship.Those present at the Conder Re- j ii union were Adam Conder and wife of Harlen, Mo., Solomn Conder of Brazil, Indiana, both of which were soldiers of the Civil War.Mhalah Webster of Bee Hunter, Iddiana, sister, these were the brothers and sister of Joe Clark’ mothr.There were also present Call Keller and family of Lyons. Ind., John Clark ad wife of Lewis. Indiana. Dr. John Baker and family' of Brazil. Indiana, Walter Everly and family, Jode Wilson and family, Roy Fiscus and family, all of Owen county', also SadieDuncan and family of near Clay City, Indiana.At noon dinner was spread in the aprk at the E. T. Bamcs flower farm and every one enjoyed the feast.After dilnner the children played and the grown folks chatted the af- t teraoon away. All departed for their homes, with a hopeful feeling that i -y another such reunion might be had ( c next year and be spared by the Ruler ( s of Destiny to again commune. s
