As was foretold, the portrait in our last previous issue was not identified by many of our Teaders. H. W. Willard and Charles Dunham, who had known the subject when he was of the youthful age at which he was represented in the picture, were able to identify the subject, as was also Mrs. * B, A. Williams. jv.It was a portrait i of Orlando A.Joiner. He was a sbn of Cyrus , S.• ' . • • ■.,*Joirifer who came from'Hew York statea •and settled in Mayfield township, this, county, in 1$42. Orlando A. Joiner was born in that township in 1849. He was engaged in farming for many years, but for several years has been a resident of Sycamore where he isheld in high esteem.. In the issue next following that in which each portrait appears the subject of that portrait will be disclosed.
