Elolse O. Borth,abac153 West Wabasha street, and Dr. Eli E. Christensen of Rochester were married Saturday evening.The ceremony was performed at 5 o'clock at the home of the bride’s mother by the Rev# C. Burnett Whitehead, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal church in.the presence of about 100 guests and felattves.Dr. Stanley Mulholland of Rochester played a program of nuptial music preceding the entrance of the bridal party. The soft green smilax and7 the pink and white delicately tinted flowers were twined around the stair rail and the newel post. Eight of the bride's girlhood friends gowned in pastel tinted evening frocks stretched white ribbons from the stair to the altar forming a pathway for the bride who was escorted by her uncle, Charles P. Crangle of Minneapolis.The ribbons were carried by Miss Harriet Jackson, Miss Margaret Howard, Mrs. Raymond Seitz, Miss Elizabeth Botsford, Miss Susan Cochrane, Miss Betty Bosshard of Minneapolis and Mrs. E. B. Rentschler and Miss Verna Mulholland of Rochester. Throughout the home, the dainty tints of pale pink and white were used as the color theme of the decorations.The bride was attended by Mrs. Richard B. Maxwell as matron of honor. Mrs. Maxwell was gowned in printed taffeta, the printed design a shaded rose and black on a background of pale pink. Fashioned with highwaisted bodice and bouffant skirt, the beauty of the frock was in its material and lines. Her flowers, a Mignon arm bouquet, in fall shades, were in a soft old-fashioned background of tinted ribbon. Dr. Christensen was attended by Dr. Joseph G. Mayo of Rochester.Wears Family Heirloom.The bride wore a period dress of ivory brocaded satin with the fitted high waisted bodice emphasized by the extremely full bouffant skirt, ankle length in ffont and slightly dipping in back. A court train of th brocade gracefully fell from the shoulders to the floor. Her long veil of white tulle was. held at the back by a close fitting cap and shoulder veil of rose point lace, an heirloom, which has been worn by the brides of the Horton family. The bride, in keeping with the period atmosphere of her gown, carried a quaint Priscilla shower bouquet of white Angel-tis roses and lilies of the valley tied with white tulle;Mrs. Borth, mother of the bride, wore beige lace. Her flowers were a shoulder bouquet of Talsman roses and gardenias. A figured metal chiffon fashioned the gown of Mrs. M. S. Henderson of Rochester, sister of the groom.
