Th* Lyceum theatre—popular motion picture house for the past 12 years—may soon be turned into adance hall. It is believed, although no official announcement has been made by the 'management or by the owners,T. J. and John P. Melvin. It is understood that no more shows will be given in the playhouse, the last performance having been given last Saturday night.It is reported that the playhouse will be remodeled and turned into adance hall where public dances will j be given periodically. The new hall also will be rented for dancing parties and socials to local organizations. The Lyceum was a dance hall about 12year* ago, before it was remodeled for a theatre.The Grand JTheatre management.which also operated the Lyceum, will now devote its attention to wcuring better attractions for the Grand for which a greatly increased patronage is expected due to the reduction ofplayhouses in the city to only two.I j
