A committee of judges, composed of L. H. Bissell, president of the Illinoise of Photography at Effingham;Felix Raymer, who is with the same school, and M. A. Yauck, president of the Artura Photo Paper company, Columbus, O., met here this week to make awards in the contest for children'sby G. G. Holloway n in a prize contest. As is always the ecase where children are to be judged,the committee found it had a difficulttask on its hands. In connection with the awards the committee made thestatementMr. Holloway’work:*14There being so many excellent pictures on exhibition we found it a most difficult task to perform and trust that the parents of the children whose pictures were entered will feel as though we have done our duty as best wemany dids not win prizes, their pictures were at the same timemost excellent, and we wish to compliment Mr. Holloway upon his most excellent display.
