Franklin Civic Operetta is announcing the cast of “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” which will be presented Wednesday through Sunday.The performances will be presented during Applefest at the Barrow-Civic Theatre, 1223 Liberty St.The cast includes: Mike Eicholtz, Doran Gilhousen, Sue Saltarelli, Toby Saltarelli, Bill Kennedy, Jennifer Powell, Jeff Powell, Chris Hunter, Wes Craig, Kevin Urda, Rob Hoover, Jennifer Baxter, Erin Welker, Tricia Montgomery, T.J. Daley, Samara Khan, Suzanne Plyler, Marlene Richards, Don Owens and Julie Glaubach.The production staff for “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” includes: Dan Brady, stage director; Michael Kozial, music director; Patty Helterbran, choreographer; Kristen Criado, accompanist; Crystal Curran, stage manager; Ed Quinn, assistant stage manager; Matt Brady and Rick Cotter, set design and construction; Judy Braymer, publicity and programs; Mary Danzer, Helen Mortimer and Robin Lutz, costume design; Nancy Smith, makeup; Dave Ballard, Tami Witherup and Linda Anderson, lights; Joan DeWoody and Ron DeWoody, properties; Bruce Exley and Rosie Cotter,sound.The opening night performance will be from 6:30 to 7:43 p.m., on Wednesday, followed by a reception, “A Roman Feast,” free to the opening night audience in the lobby.For ticket information call 437-3440, Monday through Friday or one hour before showtime at the box office.
