Pleasant Social Bvent.Mrs.Bragdon’s ‘‘at home/’ in honor of her departing guests,was a rare event in staid New Albany, as was evidenced by the lingering guests and the real enjoyment all seemed to derive from the occasion. Flowers perfumed the air and the whole house had a cheerful look. The well filled rooms were ample evidence that the amiable hostess and her charming daughters hold the hearts of many friends.
