olr05-t-* mLions Will SponsorAutomobile ShowMedicine Hat Lions will sponsor an automobile show. If all local car dealers have their new models on hand in time the show will be held on November 22, 23, 5nd 24. In presenting the suggestion at the regular club meeting held last evening, Bill Swain said: “It will be a presentation of the 1957 model cars, trucks, and tractors. It is expected that there will also be a fashion show each evening, displaying to the ladies the latest fall and winter fashions.Winners in last week’s Road-e-o were guests of honor at last night’s meeting. Jack Dempster, a director of the AMA presented the AMA trophy to Leslie Mann, who won first place. Prizes for the runners-up were presented to Chuck Keating who placed second; George Falkesgaard, third; Dan Hansen, winner in the teen-age driver con- [ j test, and to Maxine Fenton, who | ( was given a special girls’ award.The guest speaker last evening was Ray Rolfe, executive secretary of the Jqhn Howard Society, | y Lethbridge, who spoke about the work of the society. A film was shown as well.
