King for a Dayrllik JERRY FLYNXRoyal robes ipu.ve not a king, but nobody can ignore the crown and nee;:tre which adorn rotund form of Jerry* Flynn, 14718 Lev ington ave., in the above photo. Flynn was recently honored by fellow members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles at the organization's state convention by being named king for a day. The honor was bestowed as a result of his having obtained 44 members for the Harvey Aerie of which he is a member. The coronation, which took place in the Sherman hotel, was witnessed by an estimated 8,000, and was followed by a speech on the part of the almost speechless Jerry. The wrist watch he models was also a kingly gift, but what part the stogie he chews so contentedly played in the proceedings has not been determined.(Photo Courtesy Forging Ahead)
