We are a thinking people, We cannot forget that■ this state and our whole country has just emerged from the depths of Industrial depression, nor that we have Just passed through n .period of war, which necessarily has brought grief mid distress to thousands of’people in this laud. If Anything were needed to prove-that Milwaukee Is the place in which to hold the state fair, the enormous attendance each day of city people would furnish *t.I congratulate the board of agriculture and the people of the state generally upon the success of the fair this year and upon the evidence of prosperity whleh this great exhibition present*.
