The Stidham •gin Is running day and night.The baptizing was attended by a rather large group Sunday. Brother James of Checotah officiated.Mr. and Mrs. Dave Acord called on George Self and family Sun?* day afternoon. Dave is now head clerk of the V. E. Hill Mercantile Co.,Mrs. Elbert Tinney spent Sunday with Mrs. Cecil Pittman.Mrs. Walter Pittman and two daughters arrived from California last week looking well and report regular employment in that state.Mrs. Jess Burdick arrived in Stidham last Saturday for a visit with her sister, Mrs. Clara White.The Sunday school at the Baptist church was attended by a large group Sunday. The crowds are growing larger and the interest increasing. Everybody is invited to come and take part.Mrs. Gertrude White is improving her farm.Mrs. Rhoda Hawkins is planning some improvements on her farm.
