A PLEASANT BEACH PARTYMiss Leone Saunders, one of Osprey’s attractive girls, gave a most enjoyable beach party, to her friends \ last Friday evening, at Crescent beach. Those in attendance were, Mr. and Mrs. V. A. Saunders, Misses Olive Mabel and little Virginia, Harry Saunders and Glenn Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Harris of Michigan and Mr. Mirror, of Manatee, Miss LeoneSaunders of Osprey, Miss Alice Saunders of Bradentown, Mrs. Sneden of Ga., and Albert Saunders and Mr. Powell of New York, Mr. Mac Hamlin, Mrs. Hamlin and two little daughters with Mrs. Jessie Shumard and little son, Mr. and Mrs. McCauley, Miss Ruth McCauley, Miss Catherine Taylor and Mr. Lewis, also Mr. Gordie. They reached the beach just as the Sun in all its beauty wassinking in the west producing one ofthe most gorgeous pictures nature can afford.Just as the Sun was sending forth its last rays, the lovely harvest Moon in her soft radiance came up to light the way. Bathing was enjoyed in the silvery cooling waters of the Gulf. After which a splendid 'supper was served, and enjoyed by all. A marshmallow roast was also a pleasant feature of the evening, finally the pleasant company wended their way back to their homes wishing for another occasion so happily spent to be not far distant.
